BurghHeath kindly gave Surbiton their 12th Boy, who when question by Skipper for the day Jim as to how the opposition played simply replied 'Hard'.
On a green and bumpy turf it soon became clear that it was impossible to bat unless you received full tosses and long-hops.
However, Jim's six batting partners thought otherwise, and got out for the grand total of 2 combined, and Surbitom were soon 54 for 7 at which point BurghHeath gave the ball to two blokes who had been waiting for a 1st career wicket.

Burgh House is a handsome Queen Anne house in the heart of Old Hampstead, with original panelled rooms and staircase, and wrought-iron gates.

This house is one of Britain's most important examples of Modernist architecture; the former home of Erno Goldfinger and designed and built by him in 1939.

"BurghHeath really needs a facility like this as there is nothing comparable in the locality.
The largest is around the station, approximately in the centre of the Tadworth area.
There is another towards the south of the area, nearer to Walton Heath, and a third, known locally as Shelvers Hill, to the north, near to Epsom Downs.
The shops in these areas are part of the increasingly rare British village landscape, featuring amongst them a butcher, fishmonger, baker, greengrocer and delicatessen.
There should have been four bombs in the 'stick' that fell on BurghHeath in Surrey during the blitz.
Remember, none of the bombs exploded, so if my idea is sound, there could be an unexploded ww2 bomb in BurghHeath pond.
In order to ease my conscience I have written to the authorities and while they agree with all I say, having checked the records they feel that it would be too expensive to drain the pond and have a look.
The 3 hours 45 minute group took 3 hours 20 minutes and some of the riders from the 4 hours 15 minute group took less than 3 hours 50 minutes.
Disaster struck in Cobham with a fall in the group behind me. Luckily for all there were no serious injuries but while we were stopped everyone commented how slippery the roads were hence we took the corners more easily from now on.
The slow uphill from Epson to BurghHeath via the Drift Bridge picked off a few more riders.
