 NEBULA - Press & Bio
Next month the band will enter in the studio to record its debut album, but since now "Let It Burn" doesn't leave any doubts: Nebula shine with their own light, and it is the light of a solar blast, which will swallow all your mental and physical resistance.
Let It Burn, the six-song debut from this Southern California band, is a blues-soaked trip through psychedelic guitar rave-ups and fat-bottomed grooves.
As the split for two of them from the "In search of..." band was less than happy, with vitriolic comments from each part, we were eager to verify the consistency of this new group, which, considering their six-track release "Let it burn", is a first rate one.

 Slash and Burn/ Guns N' Roses/ Slash
Slash is reportedly ready to start auditioning singers for his equally inconsequential solo project, Slash's Snakepit, since Eric Dover is busy with his band, Imperial Drag.
Although the split was reportedly by "mutual agreement" between Slash and singer Axl Rose, it seems safe to assume that this band, which stopped mattering sometime around "November Rain," is now free to stumble off into the heavy metal aria direction the frequently court-bound singer was last seen pushing it uphill.
ABC reported that the faceless ax-grinder has vacated his spot in the volatile band, who've been largely dormant since releasing their double Use Your Illusion set way back in 1991.

The Frames - Burn The Maps
Ultimately though, Burn the Maps offers the next chapter in the story of a band who have shown that time and time again they can produce a little piece of heartfelt magic — such a rare commodity in modern music.
Burn the Maps on the other hand, is noticeably a band effort.
Maybe it is not quite as instantly special as For the Birds, which in itself showed a much more vulnerable and exposed side to the band, but Burn the Maps does attempt to show another side, a side where The Frames are very much a band effort and not afraid of showing it.

Rough Edge: Interview with Lamb of God; 2000
First, towards the beginning of the change away from Burn The Priest we got Will to replace a guitar player and the band as a whole just took a huge step in momentum and what we were able to do.
The way the band operated for Burn The Priest and Lamb Of God are two succinct, unique things.
Drummer Chris Adler, vocalist D. Randall Blythe, bassist John Campbell, guitarist Mark "Duane" Morton, and guitarist Will Adler were engaged and energetic as we discussed the band's transition to Lamb Of God, the subsequent buzz surrounding the band, the Richmond scene, the reception for "New American Gospel," and the inspiration behind the lyrics.

Burn the Priest was the original name of current band Lamb of God, but the name was fed to the fire when guitarist Willie Adler joined the band.
However, the self-titled Burn The Priest album was rereleased last month, and it represents a look back to a time when the band was performing in small Richmond-scene venues under the influence of kerosene heater fumes and Black Label Beer.
Burn The Priest's music is just as malicious sounding as its name.

The band did not burn out after all, releasing a split single with Fatima Masons (a rock cover of Suicide Is Painless) which became their first UK Top 10 hit, and began work on a second album.
However, Richey contributed much more, he brought to the band a unique aesthetic that was a collision of The Clash and Guns N' Roses (which sat perfectly with James, two of his heroes are Mick Jones and Slash), Albert Camus style intelligence, Guy Debord style politics and Marilyn Monroe style glamour.
Richey's contribution to the band was, along with Nicky, writing the lyrics, miming guitar onstage (Richey once said of his guitar playing, "I can play a bit, but compared to James I can't play at all") and driving them to and from gigs.

Heaven Shall Burn is a band about hope and positivity, they want people to become educated and think for themselves.
In fact, you might call them the most uncompromising German export you’ve ever heard, and they are poised and ready to destroy the wall between metal and hardcore.“ That quotation, from the band’s biography, should tell you a little something about Heaven Shall Burn.
Although the band does not tour as extensively as other similar bands, Heaven Shall Burn has managed to accumulate a large and loyal following where ever they play.

I know he twiddled the knobs for "As the Palaces Burn", but I can't help but wonder if he threw an idea or two at the band to complement something they had already recorded.
This is the same band that impressed many with their debut, but they've outdone themselves here and progressed as much as a band should in the time between these two albums.
A big deal was made about the production of "As the Palaces Burn" being shoddy, but I don't hear it.

Finch keeps the great music coming with their sophomore album, "Say Hello To Sunshine." The sound on this album cannot be compared to their first album, "What It Is To Burn" because this album makes them sound like a completely different band.
Finch after producing my favorite album of all time, took a turn to being just another wanna be glassjaw esque bands.
Finch have moved in such a different direction from the last album many many previous fans will be put off but I think they will continue to push their music with future recordings and create something even better.

But what's noteworthy about this album is not just that it mixes so many disparate genres brilliantly, but that the band actually creates a sound all their own from the result.
One spin of this album gives the listener a distinct sense that there is a new, distinct sound that is uniquely Finch, that the band is not merely a composite but has forged a fresh identity in a world of so much generica.
The album is aided strongly by the fact that the majority of its tracks do not get lost amongst one another.

 Sound judgment - Rollins Band
And as well-adjusted as the band sounds, you get the feeling that Rollins is still doing a lot of the lock himself in his room, turn off the lights, and lift weights to burn righteous steam.
These type of purge-myself lyrics are probably most linked with the kind of sloppy punks that Rollins use to associate with when he was the lead singer of the seminal post-punk outfit Black Flag.
But he sure can emote, even if it's a fairly limited pack of feelings he expresses: guilt, shame, self-doubt, self-hatred, etc. And on "Come in and Burn," ole Henry is once again ripping open his rib cage to inspect the bruises and contusions that pockmark his ever-pounding heart.

The band was still riding high in 1997, but following that year's Come In And Burn album and tour, musical differences between Rollins and the others flared, and eventually all but Rollins left the band.
He formed the Rollins Band shortly following his tenure in Black Flag, and following a few low-key releases in the late nineties, started to get the ball rolling with 1992's The End Of Silence, the band's breakthrough album following a stint on the initial Lollapalooza tour the previous year.
Henry Rollins has become a celebrity in several arenas, ranging from spoken-word performances, movie roles, even the occasional stand-up comedy appearance, and of course as vocalist in the seminal punk flag Black Flag in the eighties.

Amazon.ca: Wither Blister Burn And Peel: Music
With the quality of the honestly promising numbers on "WITHER BLISTER BURN + PEEL", the band should've been more careful with the rest of the lot, which overshadow the ones, which are indicative of a promising outfit, passing through a phase of adolescence.
It does satisfy all the sine qua nons of an 'industrial' album: richly layered and unrecognizable music, plenty of distortion happening somewhere in the midst of the effusive synthesized sounds of all sorts, and yes, the essentially disheveled lyrics, which refuse to understand and acknowledge the beauty of the world around us.
The lack of maturity of this band from Chicago is most prominent in the lyrics, which they have written for this album.
