At this time of the year Hakea Burrendong Beauty brightens up the garden, it originated as a hybrid seedling at the Burrendong Arboretum in NSW and is now widely available.
The blog will be off the air for some time tomorrow, the servers are being upgraded and it will take a bit of work to get things sorted out again.
I looked this up on the Burrendong Arboretum and a couple of other Australian web sites and found some other grafted Hakeas that are also quite beautiful.
