Burton Christopher Bell (born February 19, 1969) is a vocalist and lyricist.
Born in Houston, Texas, Bell is the frontman of the death metal/industrial band Fear Factory.
After Fear Factory's split in 2002, Bell went on to start a solo career called Ascension of The Watchers, which is currently on hold to allow him to focus back on Fear Factory, who reformed with new bassist, Byron Stroud.

Their first demos were strongly reminiscent of legendary British grindcore band Napalm Death, along with Godflesh, who were not only tourmates but influences brought up by the band as well.
Ironically, some of Justin Broadrick's vocals are comparable to those of Burton C. Bell after he discontinued the death grunt and when he still used it, his vocals were comparable to Napalm Death's vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway.
Robert Flynn stated his vocal style was influenced by Burton Bell's vocals and that Machine Head have been wrongly credited for the vocal style.
