Started in 1997 as a weekly business paper covering Sarasota and Manatee counties, in July 2003, the Review merged with its sister paper, the 51-year-old Tampa Bay Review, to become a regional weekly covering the business scene from Tampa-St. Petersburg to Sarasota.
In 2005, the Review began covering the booming business community in Collier and Lee counties, with in-depth coverage from areas such as Bonita Springs, Fort Myers and Naples.
