The Business (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Business first emerged off the streets of South London in October 1979, leading a new wave of British punk that was hardly new wave at all.
Instead, the Business, along with peers such as Angelic Upstarts, Blitz, and the 4-Skins, came out with a version of punk that was harder and more streetwise than ever, while still maintaining the anthemic qualities of the heavily influential Sham 69.
The Business had a particular knack for churning out anthems, as evidenced by their first single, "Harry May," and followed by such enduring concert staples as "Drinking and Driving" and "Smash the Discos," both included on the CD re-issue of the classic Suburban Rebels album.

In some large metropolitan areas, such as New York, the UHF-T band (between 470 and 512 MHz) is also used, due to congestion on the standard VHF or UHF bands.

Technology changes have opened the door to another business model, that being the "small business band." The disadvantages of this model are that all aspects of the marketing, manufacturing, distribution, promotion, advertising and the sources of capital are now the obligation of the small business band.
The advantages of the small business band model are the band keeps all income and has a long-term business life.
If a band has determined that their business model is the small business band model, the band must prepare a business plan.

I have long been fascinated by the movement of players from band to band, and the jamband scene in general seems infatuated with the guest musician, the part time player, and the interchange of musicians from band to band.
This new band brings both the skills and the passions of the previous bands, but the new musical stew is totally different from its component ancestors.
Containing members of regionally strong bands, and drawing from the strengths that those bands have made in the last two decades in Ohio, the band was poised from the start to skip a few steps in the formation of their audience.
