In the county the population is spread out with 25.90% under the age of 18, 11.90% from 18 to 24, 29.80% from 25 to 44, 21.70% from 45 to 64, and 10.70% who are 65 years of age or older.
Butler County was the birthplace of, the 'farmer statesman', Civil War general, and Governor of Ohio.

 West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
West Chester Township, formerly known as Union Township, is a township located in the southeast corner of Butler County in southwest Ohio, one of thirteen townships in the county.
The thirteenth and last in order of creation, it was erected from Liberty Township by the Butler County Commissioners on June 2, 1823, upon petitions from residents of the township.
It is bordered on the east by the Warren County township of Deerfield and the city of Mason; on the south by the Hamilton County cities of Sharonville and Springdale; on the west by Fairfield Township and the City of Fairfield; and on the north by Liberty Township.

The County Commissioner there is proposing that anyone on parole or probation be required to have GPS monitoring chips implanted so their movements can be tracked remotely, this despite the fact that sub-dermal GPS chips don’t exist (he’s probably thinking of RFID chips).
Not to be outdone, apparently the county sheriff would like to take things up a notch even beyond that, saying, “I would support the type of electronic monitoring that delivers an electrical shock to an offender if he or she is doing something in violation of probation.”
Ohio, a bustling metropolis, is a dude who probably maybe sorta needs to be kept track of.

Karen John and Nancy lived in Madison County, Ind. for awhile and then moved back to Butler County where I suppose they died, but have never found a tombstone, so cannot say for sure they died in Butler County.
In 1850 Ezekiel is in the household of L.D. Anderson and shows as a Laborer Butler County.
I think Dicie made a mistake in her identification of which Benjamin married a Ashcraft, she was the widow of Felix and records in Butler County show this to be true.
