It is going to be an amazing time that you won't want to miss.
It is with deep regrets that the 2007 Alabama Butterbean Festival must announce that it's Memphis in May sanctioned BBQ Cook-off has beeen CANCELLED.
Memphis in May (MIM) officials notified the Alabama Butterbean Festival on Wednesday (8/22/07) that they do not have any MIM representatives available to come to the festival and conduct the cook-off on Saturday, September 1st.

That'd be interesting...but I think the consensus seems to be that if it was a boxing match Butterbean would win, under MMA or K1 rules it might be a lot closer.
