		Buu managed to heal them, but became so angry that he released a skinny, evil version of himself, which defeated him in battle and absorbed him, becoming Buu in an extremely powerful form.
		Buu immediately teleported to Kami’s lookout, where he challenged Goten and Trunks, who were in the room of spirit and time practicing the fusion that Goku had just taught them.

		But, since Evil Buu really wasn't the brightest person, I'm betting he lost his intelligence and forogt who was, then claiming to be Majin Buu.
		Buu is a creation, keep in mind, so he has designs, and everything that he does was made to do that way by Bibidi, so that's why I think that's sounds about right that this was just something his body naturally did because of the way he was made.
		So if Kid buu absorbed goku, he could still be a killing machine, and since he'd have a lot more intelligence than Fat buu, he probably could not be convinced to be good as Fat Buu was more like an easily influenced child.
