WDWMAGIC.COM Forums - Will Disney Ever Build Another OmniMover-Based Attraction?
Will the emphasis be on quick thrill, non-educational or imagination-evoking attractions, or even whether the few that are built are relegated to attraction similar to Buzz where there isn't anything taken away from the attraction, its just there, like a video game.
After EE, the Animal Kingdom could really use 2 or 3 C or D ticket attractions.
That's too similar to something that already exists, so I would consider that to be a "clone" and not a "new" attraction, even if it does have its differences.

Making the Grade: Disney Introduces Handheld Captioning
In many moving narrative attractions, such as Peter Pan’s Flight, it’s a small world, Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, fixed captioning systems are not always effective as the ride is often moving too fast to read the captions.
Disney announced plans to add at least ten more attractions at the Walt Disney World® Resort and begin testing this service in at least four attractions at the Disneyland® Resort during 2003.
In locations throughout the parks, mostly the narrative moving attractions, the wireless handheld receiver displays the text narration corresponding to that location.

Buzz Lightyear has similar attractions in Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland.

During summers and holidays, FastPass is added to Buzz Lightyear, the Jungle Cruise and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
The new FastPass system, which is designed to reduce the time guests spend waiting in line for big-name attractions, was created just for people like you.
The FastPass waiting times run anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes on average--a vast improvement over the 90-minute waits that big attractions often post during peak times.
