	Battle of Bzura reenactment pics [Archive] - Military Photos
		On 7 and 8 September 1939 armies Poznan and Pomorze retreating from Posnania and Pomerania concentrated in the triangle Leczyca - Wloclawek - Plock.
		On 16 September in the morning two armoured divisions, the 1st and the 4th, crossed Bzura in the north and south of Sochaczew and attacked Polish positions.
		The rest of the forces of the Armies Poznaс and Pomorze were encircled on the Bzura and annihilated in fights.

	Battle of the Bzura
		On September 9, Polish Poznań Army made a counter-attack from the area south of the Bzura river, its target were German divisions spread marching between Łęczyca and Łowicz.
		German 1st Panzer Division, after crossing the Bzura between Sochaczew and Brochów, and a bloody encounter with the Polish 25th Infantry Division, managed to capture Ruszki, but its advance was then halted.
		The 15th Infantry Division and Podolska Cavalry Brigade again crossed the Bzura in Witkowice, the 25th Infantry Division - in Brochow, 17th Infantry Division started to cross the river also in Brochów and the 14th Infantry Division was concentrating its forces in Łaziska.
