  C-54 Skymaster Information
The Douglas C-54 Skymaster was a four-engined transport aircraft used by the United States Army Air Forces in World War II.
Like the C-47 Skytrain, the C-54 Skymaster was derived from a civilian airliner (the DC-4).
C-54s began service with the USAAF in 1942, carrying up to 26 passengers.

They don't have all of them up all the time but usually have several and I have seen the Skymaster offered a time or two.
New to this thread, I have a fully built Skymaster Marutaka kit (twin 40 2st), built some years ago.
The spar appears to be on the CG.

Anyhow, movement of C of P, changes in Lift Coefficiet etc. are a little difficult to predict with the scaling-down that we do with the models - but I take your word for it about the SM F5's flight characteristics being very scale-like.
Mine flies really well - and I did not use the airbake option either (too much weight & hassle to install?) - once the flaps are out and it settles in that nose high attitude it is real 'draggy' so approaches are great.

The O-2 was a derivation of Cessna model 337 "Super Skymaster" (circa 1965), which was an improved model 336 "Skymaster".
It featured twin engines, one mounted in the normal nose position (tractor propeller), the second in the rear of the cabin (pusher propeller).
