		There were two series of C-planes, one beginning in 1924 and ending in 1962, and another one beginning in 1962 and continuing to the present day.

		The Dash 80 was used by Boeing for test work for many years and was donated to the Smithsonian NASM and placed in storage at the Davis-Monthan AMARC Facility where it remained until 1989 when it was flown to Seattle for restoration and flyable again by 1991.
