Further adaptations and modifications of the C-47 led to a plethora of different designations and suffixes such as the C-53 (a dedicated 28 seat troop transport) and C-117 (21 seat staff transport) to name just a couple.

The way it could be neat would be make the glider the (Build) ani for the paratrooper, and as you load the trooper on the dakota and do the airdrop it shows the dakota fly over then the glider then the unit appears.
Yes have the Normal dakota as the run and the glider as the build it works perfectly.
Depending on if you want paratroopers and such to have to use the dakota to drop or if you want the paratroopers them selves to have "integral" transports either way the Dakota for paratroops or the glider for Glider Troops.
