The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CBKT Regina in order to operate transmitters in Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids/Black Lake and Uranium City.
The Commission notes that the above-noted transmitters are currently operated by the CBC as a radiocommunication distribution undertaking (RDU), which rebroadcasts the programming of the CBC Northern Television Service.
The CBC noted that it is thus no longer necessary to hold a separate RDU licence for these transmitters, and has asked that the licence be revoked.
