The CD3 complex is a group of cell surface molecules that associates with the T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) and functions in the cell surface expression of TCR and in the signaling transduction cascade that originates when a peptide:MHC ligand binds to the TCR.
CD3 is composed of invariant subchains belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
The genes coding for the CD3 subchains are transcribed and translated before the genes encoding for the TCR subchains are transcribed and translated, leading researchers to believe that the TCR α and β subchains associate with the CD3 complex only after all four of its subchains have been assembled successfully.

The expression of the CD3 antigen is detectable in early thymocytes and is assumed to be an early sign to a T cell lineage.
The sub-cellular localization of CD3 is predominantly intracytoplasmic in cortical thymocytes and membrane-based in medullary thymocytes.
CD3 antigen is highly specific for T cells and is present in majority of T cell neoplasms.

CD3 - Audio Research CD Player - Transport
The CD3 has been a remarkable success since its introduction two years ago, clearly demonstrating how much musical information is buried in compact discs.
The engineering focus of the CD3 is to maximize performance with the prevailing music format by keeping the overall player design simple, reliable and optimized for the one task it must accomplish.
Primary control functions of the CD3 are accessible by buttons on the front panel and by the handheld remote control, which also has additional capabilities.

From the side is a motorized tray that ejects to load a compact disc, and around the sides and rear are headphone connections, a RJ-11 telco connector, an AC power connector, and a DB-9 serial connector.
The CD3 discs use the standard CD-R media, however with advanced encoding and compression techniques, the discs contain over 200 songs each with full CD quality audio (*all calculations based on 3.5 minute song).
For example, if you were listening to a CD^3 disc that contained a compilation of Top-40 music from the 80's, and only wanted to hear the Alternative Rock tracks from 1988, CD^3 would make that simple.
