CH (television system) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
CH is a system of four local television stations across Canada, owned by the Global Television unit of CanWest Global.
On February 28, 2005, the CRTC approved the disaffiliation of CHBC in Kelowna, British Columbia from the CBC; it is expected to become the fifth CH station.
While CH briefly used the slogan "Closer to Home" when it launched, it is more likely that the letters "CH" were derived from the call sign of flagship CHCH, often colloquially abbreviated to "CH" prior to that station's "ONtv" era.

 Television
Television networks obviously have a difficult and multifaceted role, and it was both refreshing and informative to have the opportunity to visit a television station and learn hands on what they do and what they think – rather than having to read simply read about it.
As a consequence, television became a mass medium in most countries in the 1950s, which was the foundation for development of the television industry.
The reason that television is by far the most utilized source of news media is not due to the fact that it provides the best news, but instead, it comes down to the fact that television is the easiest and most convenient way to obtain news.
