		Under the 1115 CHMI waiver, the Federal government provides the waiver recipient with some financial assistance to deal with family structure issues, and the recipient is required to also find some private sources of funding.

	Third Meeting of the Ozone Research Managers...: Annex C
		Ozone and UV-B monitoring and research activities in the Czech Republic (CR) are mostly performed by specialists of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) which is a governmental institution.
		The results are stored in the ozone database of CHMI and daily averages are submitted to the World Ozone Data Center (WODC) of WMO in Toronto, to cooperating stations of GAWGO30S in Central Europe and to the WMO Provisional Northern Hemisphere Ozone Mapping Center, Thessaloniki, Greece.
		In 1995 the Robertson- Berger UV-Biometers were installed at SOOHK and at the GAW observatory of CHMI in Kosetice.

		Two general impacting techniques were developed for this equipment: first is the Constant-Height Multiple-Impact technique (CHMI) which measures bruise resistance (amount of energy per unit bruise) and the second is the Increasing-Height Multiple-Impact technique (IHMI) which measures bruise threshold for some commodities.
		Increased temperature showed significant reductions in impact sensitivity measured by statistical thresholding, predicted by the CHMI method (dynamic yield pressure and bruise resistance) and dynamic axial compression tests.
		However, tissue samples from the growing location that produced tubers considered to be the most impact sensitive (by statistical thresholding) were nearly as tough as those from the least sensitive farm.

		Chmi has practically the same value as 'Shmi', which is simply 2 consecutive consonant sounds, something everyone can manage.

	REPORT ON THE ENVIRONMENT IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN 2004
		Over the territory of the CR, the ozone layer was reduced in all the months of the year, with the annual average being a 5% reduction.
		The CHMI monitoring shows that in the case of 16 substances contained in the silts matrix the measured values exceeded the B standard, indicating increased pollution.
		In sediments the number of indicators exceeding the determined standards was lower – the B standard was exceeded in the case of 5 substances.

		7days’ chronic morphine intoxication (ChMI) resulted in increase of the GABA-T and NAD-IDH activity in thalamus and brain stem, whereas these enzymes activity were lower in cerebellum compared with control.
		Collectively, in cerebellum the 14 and 21days ChMI led to a significant decrease in the activity of the key TCA cycle enzyme – NAD-IDH followed by lower GABA catabolism.
		It may be proposed that prolonged administration of morphine causes the changes in functioning of TCA cycle and an anaplerotic GABA shunt, which depended upon a concentration of GABAergic neurons in the brain regions tested.
