CKY effortlessly combines the innovative guitar-driven, stoner/desert rock influences of Kyuss, Clutch or Sixty Watt Shaman with the post-hardcore progressive elements of Quicksand or Helmet to create a unique musical experience that also showcases hints of Dog Fashion Disco’s eccentricity and Amen’s punk/hardcore-induced attitude.
On The Human Drive In Hi-Fi, CKY maintains a balance between aggressive rock and melodic sensibilities, while Lost In A Contraption showcases ethnic-influenced harmonies, and Knee Deep is composed of melodically aggressive, yet memorable vocals.
While CKY is far removed from the current trends of the music industry, Volume 1 is a powerful reminder of the vastness that is yet to be explored in the world of music, and is a strong foundation from which CKY can build upon.

CKY MP3 Downloads - CKY Music Downloads - CKY Music Videos
Formerly known as Camp Kill Yourself, the Pennsylvania quartet CKY's rise out of the mire of obscurity began when their music provided the soundtrack for two skateboarding videos starring drummer Jess Margera's brother Bam, whose daredevil stunts earned him (and the band's music) a spot on Jackass.
From there, the then-unsigned band's video for "96 Quite Bitter Beings" went into rotation on MTV, and a high-profile slot on the 2000 Vans Warped Tour led to their signing with Island.
CKY's debut came on like a plague amongst a skating and biking culture, as well loyal CKY (the movies, not the band) and Jackass fans alike; it was a long time in the making.

It’s been a whirlwind of a year for CKY, being picked up by a major label and all, and Bam rising to fame through the videos and the now defunct MTV gig, Jackass.
