CODA has conducted a series of follow-up studies with cohort members from the Agricultural Health Study (AHS), a large study of 90,000 pesticide applicators (and their spouses) sponsored by the EPA, NCI, and NIEHS to investigate the effects of environmental, occupational, dietary, and genetic factors on the health of the agricultural population.
CODA is assisting NIEHS in designing and conducting a clinical trial in which infants will be randomly assigned to soy formula with and without soy estrogens to see if their exposure to soy estrogen prolongs anatomical and biochemical evidence of estrogen exposure and response.
