CRISAT is a confederation of independant Trade Unions dedicated to protecting workers' rights and improving productivity and living standards in Rwanda.
Created in September 2005, CRISAT is working to advise workers and employers on labour laws, to mediate in disputes and campaigning to improve the condition of workers.
CRISAT and its 12 member organisations were created thanks to the time and money donated by around 20 volunteers from a range of backgrounds.

  CRISAT
CRISAT, short for Collaborative Research Into Small Arms Technology, is the EU-NATO standard in the manufacture of military equipment.
The CRISAT Target is defined as a 1.6mm Titanium plate supplemented by 20 layers of Kevlar.
Weapons are measured against this standard in respect to its ability to penetrate it, and protective equipment is manufactured to adhere to it.

One of the results of the CRISAT studies was the publication of recent NATO STANAGs defining various targets including the ‘Dismounted Personnel Target’ and ‘Unarmoured Vehicles, Helicopters and Field Fortifications’
The NATO sponsored ‘Collaborative Research Into Small Arms Technology’ (CRISAT), identified recent developments in personal protection and established a benchmark standard for penetration which challenged conventional 7.62mm ball ammunition.
The newly developed 7.62mm High Performance ammunition with enhanced penetration capability defeats both CRISAT body armour and delivers a powerful force against light vehicles, including fixed and rotary winged aircraft.

High stopping power: The Five-seveN® fires the 5.7x28mm SS190 Ball round which reliably penetrates Kevlar helmets and vests as well as CRISAT protection.
This projectile will perforate any individual protection on today's battlefield including the PASGT kevlar helmet, 48 layers of kevlar body armor and the CRISAT target (titanium and kevlar).
The SS190's conventional design allows it to be manufactured on existing production lines, and its lead-free composition eliminates range contamination.

 Introduction Paralight Ammunition.
In the contrary to the Flemish research program, which was based on the needs of the future soldier, the NATO CRISAT research was based on the expected body armor of the Warsaw Pact, 1.5 mm titanium and 20 layers of Kevlar.
The technical goal was using the high concentrated energy of a small/long penetrator in the standard 9x19 mm Parabellum caliber.
The second generation of Paralight Ammunition bullets haze as objective to reduce the drill performance to the CRISAT level but to increase the lethality of the bullet by preventing the separation of the projectile.

 PDW caliber evaluation
The decision of NATO to preserve the 9x19 mm is the most logical at this time.
A solution to a general step over to the 9x19 +P+ loads is not yet acceptable because of the large ammount of old 9x19 mm pistols, which are in use by NATO and can not sustain the higher chamber pressure.
With the energy level of the 9x19 mm cartridge, an adequate performance at CRISAT body armor is only possible with a sub caliber penetrator.

Police users are particularly concerned about finding a new calibre of ammunition that imparts the maximum amount of energy in the target, thereby reducing collateral damage caused by bullets fully penetrating the target and striking a second person.
The most significant demand since the P90 appeared was the need to penetrate the NATO CRISAT target, a titanium plate and 20 layers of Kevlar, intended to represent Soviet-style body armour.

Back Home Five SeveN - Warringers Works
The Five-seveN is advertised as being capable to penetrate standart PAGST vest at 300 meters and standart CRISAT (kevlar + titanium) vest at 100 meters in normal firing mode.
If switched to HVC mode is has been marketed as capable of penetrating up to 3.5cm of reinforced steel plate (equivalent to medium power armor) at 100 meters, CRISAT vests at 350 meters, and PAGST vests at 400 meters.
Beyond 400 meters the round is too inaccurate to hit due to the short barrel length of the pistol, but is still able to penetrate a PAGST vest at 510 meters which shooters should keep in mind.

By soft body armor penetrates this type of bullet the body armor with the full diameter of the bullet, but by very big resitance like a 3 mm thick titanium inset plate, separates the penetrator from the accelerator (sabot).
The separation occures by the penetration of soft and CRISAT body armor.
The 5.7 mm penetrator preserves more energy after the penetration of the body armor and is able to penetrtate 360 mm in calibrated gelatine after the penetration of a CRISAT body armor.

Adopted and in use in combat by the German KSK in 2002, the MP7 is now available to U.S. military and law enforcement organizations.
The small, lightweight MP7(less than 4 pounds loaded) is capable of penetrating modern body armor, including that of the former Soviet Bloc special forces, now the standard NATO test target (CRISAT) at more than 200 meters.
Vests like these are now commonly found in the hands of terrorists and criminals and make conventional pistol-caliber weapons completely ineffective.

With the changing tactics of today's new battlefields, jungle, urban, or guerilla-terrorist engagement there exists a practical requirement for a effective ammunition gender.
One that penetrates twenty five layers of Crisat Body Armor, Kevlar, as well as, hard armor such as, steel, aluminum, or titanium armor plate.
This ammunition gender is one that addresses all these requirements, lightweight, (less than 147 grains per loaded cartridge), a totally flat trajectory up to 150 meters, a straight path of penetration (NO tumbling effect of projectile), compact (1.29 inches) to permit the MIL/LE soldier to carry a more than ample quantity to sustain a firefight.

It weights only 4lbs when loaded (20), so you could carry more then one (Just encase one blocked.) and with such a low kick back, it’d be possible to use two at once.
