Factual errors: While often the science and technology portrayed in the series (as well as the other CSI series) is accurate or mirrors sound scientific principle, there have been times when methods have led to results simply not possible in the real world.
In the case of "CSI: Miami," I really enjoy the beautiful locations and the cinematography, and all the characters are interesting and the actors do a great job with them.
Miami is a hotbed of drugs, money, sex, crime, and violence so there is no lack of plot possibilities.

CSI Miami makes a pretense of sympathy (a few scenes with weeping relatives, or David Caruso sucking his cheeks and staring at the sky in his Blue Blockers), but the truth is that they want a snuff film.
Recently, in CSI Miami and CSI NY, the writers/directors tried to make us believe that from a photo or security camera, we could zoom in on the eye to see the reflection in the eyeball and then from that reflection, get a picture of what they were seeing.
CSI Miami is hands down the most ridiculous crime drama on TV, Caruso has been to the William Shatner school of acting, but the apprentice has well and truly surpassed the master.

Like its predecessors, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Dark Motives, this game is based on the TV show and the character voice acting is by the original cast members.
CSI Calleigh Duquesne does have a fair resemblance to her live counterpart, Emily Proctor, and others are easily recognised, but I did find it difficult to tell the difference between Eric Delko and Tim Speedle (played in the show by Adam Rodriguez and Rory Cochrane).
CSI Miami has an easy to use interface, which hasn't changed much from its predecessors, so no huge adjustments have to be made by anyone who has played a CSI game before.

It looks to me like 369 Interactive didn’t work hard enough to jump over the bar they’d set after CSI: Dark Motives, and instead settled a few notches down for the latest installment in the television-based series, CSI: Miami.
I was pleased to see that the developers did not forget about gameplay difficulty, an option that you can choose at the beginning of the game.
I played on the medium level and found that it was challenging enough for me, not nearly as easy as the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation but providing me with hints only where I know I needed them.

CSI: Miami follows the format of Ubisoft's successful "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" game series.
CSI: Miami may not be much more than a glorified interactive story book, but it’s still easy to recommend.
It doesn't require much thinking but since CSI has been doing the thinking for viewers for so many years maybe the majority of the game players will require this level of babysitting.
