		After facing a walkout that would have potentially delayed the election of several new CSUN directors, the student senate managed to elect several replacement senators and new directors at their May 16 meeting.
		Senator Fred Johns led several senators in a walkout during the beginning of the meeting, hoping that their absence, in combination with the uncoordinated absence of other senators, would cause the meeting to be adjourned.
		The senators, which included Senators Henry Jimenez and Adrian Huerta, were opposing the standing CSUN rule that the executive board interviews and nominates only one candidate for each of the directoral positions.

		I planned on going to CSUN when I first finished high school, but decided not to -- and attended the local junior college for 8 years.
		CSUN is good if you are into liberal arts, health related fields, teaching, psychology etc......
		I'm not going to suggest that CSUN is perfect, but it suited me and those 10 issues TTT listed weren't an issue for me. They didn't interfere with my schooling so much that I had to go somewhere else to finish up.

	CSUN's 18th Annual International Conference - "Technology and Persons with Disabilities"
		An NBC production team attended the 2002 CSUN conference but it wasn't until September 27, 2002 that a two and one-half minute segment regarding assistive technology(AT) was aired on Tom Brokaw's MSNBC Nightly News.
		AT was presented in a very positive light and the segment was professionally presented in an interesting format.
		Although there was no mention of the organization sponsoring the conference in the segment, the following week found the Center on Disabilities at CSUN receiving a large number of emails and phone calls from people throughout the United States.

		It was the First Annual CSUN ASA Pool Tournament held at Burbank’s Fantasia Pool Hall.
		As Jenny, my partner, and I saw who we were matched-up with in the first round of competition we immediately knew we were in trouble; across the pool table were two men in uniform fl attire, complete with fl, professional billiards gloves on their left hands, ready for whatever came their way.
		Participants were given beautiful CSUN ASA Pool Tournament t-shirts and tickets to redeem delicious meals and refreshment for taking part in the event.
