		Cabarrus County is a county located in the south-central part of the state of North Carolina.
		In the county the population is spread out with 25.80% under the age of 18, 8.10% from 18 to 24, 32.50% from 25 to 44, 22.10% from 45 to 64, and 11.60% who are 65 years of age or older.
		Culturally, Cabarrus County residents are historically Christian of low-church protestant traditions, especially Southern Baptist, Presbyterian and Methodist, with a significant number of Lutherans.
