Cabramatta is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales (NSW), Australia, 32 km south-west of the Sydney CBD.
Cabramatta remained a predominantly agricultural township, in Sydney's outer fringes, throughout the 19th century.
Cabramatta is also remembered for the political murder of a NSW State MP, John Newman, outside his Cabramatta home in September, 1994.

Fairfield is a suburb in the City of Fairfield, in south-western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, about 30 kilometres from the Sydney central business district.
A large portion of its residents are migrants and their descendants, notably from former Yugoslavia and more recently from Cambodia, Laos and especially Vietnam, the latter concentrated around the suburb of Cabramatta.
Large Assyrian, Italian and Spanish-speaking populations also reside in Fairfield and surrounding suburbs such as Bossley Park, Wetherill Park and Smithfield.
