Knowing that Xena was somehow important in the greater scheme of things, M'Lila risked her life to rescue her from the cross, and took her to the healer Niklio.

Definition of Xena: Warrior Princess - Biocrawler
These ranged from an encounter with Homer (before he was famous), to the capture of Julius Caesar by pirates with Xena cast as the pirate leader.
Xena was accompanied on her travels by Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor), a young girl who became her best friend and most trusted ally.
The Xena fandom also popularized the term Altfic (no relation to the evil Alti character in the series) among fans to refer to general homosexual romantic stories, as slash fiction was generally perceived as focused on male/male couples.

Whoosh! Episode Guide: Xena: Destiny (36/212)
However DESTINY manages to explore this familiar issue from an entirely new perspective, embedding it within a larger framework of epic historical forces at work on Xena and the people who have shaped her life.
One of the most tantalizing questions of this episode is whether that sacrifice was necessary to insure Xena's fulfillment of her destiny and to what degree M'lila was aware of the repercussions of her action.
But regardless of where the show is going from here, there is a very clear sense from this episode that Xena *is* going somewhere, and that her drive for atonement will take on a larger scope than fighting a succession of petty warlords.

 Whoosh! Episode Guide: DEATH MASK
It's interesting that she seems to have repressed the memory of Caesar, because she was sure feeling something by the time M'lila was killed, and I think that Xena was probably not a "warlord" until after M'lila's death.
After Xena learns that the mask is that of Cortese, "Gabrielle notes the rigidity of Xena's body; the hate in her face."
Xena sees the mask and stands looking at it for a moment before going to Gabrielle's aid, but Gabrielle has the situation in hand.

Whoosh!: The Battle Of Corinth (Part One)
When this interview is read, it can clearly be seen that the document from later history that these scrolls most resemble is no less than Caesar's Commentaries on the Gallic Wars!
If the village did resist, all the men that resisted actively that survived the resulting battle were immediately challenged to defend themselves then put to the sword, usually by Xena's own hand.
The only conclusion that can be immediately, and tentatively, drawn is that the person who was interviewed for these scrolls was Xena herself.

Caesar later took savage revenge, capturing Xena and crucifying her on a beach, which was most likely located somewhere in the Strymon Gulf.
The best Argo could do dragging that coffin might be, say, ten miles a day, so unless the coffin had built-in refrigeration, range is strictly limited, or Xena would have come out of it looking like a Dryad (so would Argo after a few days' heavy haulage).

Round Killing Thing review: Amphipolis Under Siege
The Romans, perhaps, would've wanted the death of Xena well publicized, but with the assassination of Caesar and all, you'd think they'd have other things on their mind than worrying about demoralizing a country they presently have little interest in about a woman Julius was obsessed with.

In any case, Egyptian troops had no part in the battle of Pharsalus and Pompey was not killed there.

In this poem we are introduced to the Fairy King Oberon, who is the son of Julius Caesar and Morgan le Fay, and who also is a cousin of Jesus.
The deeds of Charlemagne and his knights accounted for hundreds of stories during the Middle Ages and a rich folklore was developed based on the stories.
The earliest written account of her is in the "Roman de Troie" while the "Chanson d'Esclairmonde" is one of the last accounts of her until relatively modern times.

Also starring in the thriller is Englishman Linus Roache, son of Coronation Street stalwart William Roache aka Ken Barlow, who has also forged a highly successful acting career in his own right.

 On Linking Caesar and Xena
The story tellers of the time incorporated Caesar into their mythology by making him the son of the Fairy Queen Brunehaut, and also the husband of Morgan le Fay.
It is reasonable to expect that men of the historical magnitude of Caesar and Alexander would have whole mythologies built around them.
When we apply this concept to mythology, we are trying to prove whether a story is true folklore or whether it has been fabricated.

There are two versions of the story, in one version, Oberon dies in his sleep, and Jesus carries him into Heaven; and in the other version, the gates of Heaven open, and the living Oberon enters.

FILMINK - Australia's Essential Movie Magazine: Film news, movie reviews, video & DVD releases, film industry information Australian & international etc
To date, Urban is perhaps most well known for two very different roles: as Julius Caesar on TV’s Xena: Warrior Princess, and as The Sweeper, a too-tough bouncer with a surprisingly sensitive side in the New Zealand-shot international production Heaven, opposite Martin Donovan.
For his role as a fierce warrior leader, Urban obviously couldn’t do any actual research, though the precision and expanse of the film made it easy for him to get into character, as did his hours of training in horse riding and sword fighting.
New Zealand actor Karl Urban got to live a dream when he was cast in The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers, and he tells FILMINK’s Erin Free all about it.
