		A Caherdavin woman and her two daughters had a lucky escape this week, after being awakened by a smoke alarm that woke them up when a fire started downstairs in their home.
		The house at Brookville Avenue was badly damaged in the blaze.
		It is understood that the family were today staying with relatives while the damage to their family home was being assessed.

		The court was told that children were left unsupervised at the Jolly Tots creche in Caherdavin in Limerick, and that there were not proper sanitary facilities, proper food or heat at the premises.
