The Isle of Mull (or simply Mull; Muile in Scottish Gaelic) is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland in the county of Argyll and Bute.
In the 2001 census the usual resident population of Mull, Iona and Ulva was 1,841; this is supplemented by many more tourists, some of whom visit the Duart Castle.
The mausoleum of Lachlan Macquarie, Governor of New South Wales from 1809 to 1822 may be found on the island (Macquarie had been born on nearby Iona) and serves as a point of pilgrimage for the few Australians who venture there.

Fort Calgary was established in 1875 as Fort Brisebois by the North West Mounted Police, located at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers in what is now Calgary, Alberta.
Captain Brisebois originally named the fort after himself, but due to his unpopularity, it was renamed Fort Calgary in 1876 by James MacLeod, after Calgary House, a castle at Calgary Bay on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.
In 1974, the city of Calgary reclaimed the land and it was designated a Provincial and National Historic Site.

On 13th in the sound of Mull were 2 great northern divers, also at Loch Buie a fl throated diver, A peak of 100+ golden plover on 18th were at loch Beg.
At Tobermory were Crossbills on 6th and a flock of 40 Twite were feeding at Grasspoint on 16th.
