Calgary East is a federal electoral district in Alberta, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1925 to 1953, 1979 to 1988, and since 1997.
It was abolished in 1952 when it was redistributed between Calgary North, Calgary South and Macleod ridings.
It was re-created in 1976 from parts of Calgary North, Calgary South and Palliser ridings.

Calgary is home of the Flames NHL team, when I got here the place was buzzing due to their crunch game against the Mighty Ducks on the 3rd.
As well as driving around Calgary in Rich's car (The Shitbox) I also borrowed his bike and headed for the hills for a couple of days of punishment.
Calgary was a great place and I loved it for its outdoor lifestyle, basically only 90 mins from the Rockies and having some good parks and woodlands, there's a good balance between the city and mountains.
