I can agree to why the anime is a turn off for some people, but when it comes to the manga I can only see as their only excuse is that they don't like to read comics and they need to see it in motion.
Knowsnothing: The manga is less of a hassle to follow but the anime is still needed to at least see them in action in some of the awesome battles that happen, specially now considering the 1st real battle of the recent beginning of the 2nd part of the manga.
And besides we have to consider that these shows are prolonged because of their commercial value, I am still a firm believer that manga cuts off all the flaws that anime present but manga still has one major flaw which is it not being animated.

 SAVANT:: Demon in the Freezer
SAVANT is a weekly comics magazine with an activist bent, aimed at readers, retailers, and professionals of all stripes interested in the comics industry.
This comic had a lot going against it for me in that a) it was hyped like a mofo, b) I haven't been keen on what Jeph Loeb Batman I've read, and c) Batman's a character who's a lot better in theory than he is in practice.
The result is a comic which doesn't read like a comic, with naturalistic dialogue and more laugh out loud moments than the last two comedies I saw.

well we are going comic book shopping later today to get the last preacher the new punisher whatever x-men is out this week to laff at all the deplorable first issue drivel that has been released and to talk shit to the comic shop owner.
DOOM the comic series based on dr. doom is actually pretty good even tho its only on its first issue.
well we went and low and behold almost all the comics that were suppose to arrive today were in transit with ups as was most of the countries comic book shop orders.

His intellectual energies are devoted to pursuits which contribute to his romanticized superhero life (aeronautics and electronics to create the Owlship and a bag of spectacular gadgets, criminology and martial arts to facilitate his "career"), but these skills never make a difference in his mature, post-vigilante life.
In the comics story, the hapless protagonist sails on his corpse-raft trying to give warning of the oncoming pirate ship, save his love's village from annihilation.

It’s not an easy thing to write a review for poetry, especially not when I usually only review fiction, non-fiction, and comics; and Caliban’s Redemption is just as difficult to review that I feared it would be.
Now, I’m not an expert drinker, but I know a good whisky when I try one, and I also know for a fact that the hidden meanings and larger pictures of some of Parry’s texts are beautiful indeed.
Perhaps this is due to my inability to appreciate poetry the way poetry “should” be appreciated, or perhaps it’s just a fact that most poets are unable to produce enough good material to make an entire collection.
