Willard H. Murray was a member of the state assembly, an engineer at TRW, a congressional aide to Mervyn Dymally, and a past chair of the Legislative Black Caucus.

California 83 is a fairly short north-south state route, connecting California 71 with Chino, Ontario, and Upland.
