		Consumer advocates are concerned that Caller ID could be used to discriminate against consumers with a practice called "redlining." For example, a pizza delivery company or taxi service might avoid serving high- crime areas.

		You don't know it, but your computer does, so it displays the name and number of the caller, opens their notes and account records, turns off the audio CD that is playing in your CDROM drive and marks their location on a map of the UK.

		Russell also has a Caller ID voicemail program, Commail.One cute feature is that these programs respond to withheld numbers with the noise of a disconnected line, so that autodial systems will remove the line from telemarketing lists.
		It doesn't necessarily use Caller ID, rather your callers say who they are, and PA uses voice recognition to match this up with an address book.If you aren't taking calls from that person, they go to voicemail; such messages can then be sent to email.

		I can't really do this program justice here, but if you are willing to pay for it, this offers a full communications suite for ISDN users including features like a fax server and some kind of development of environment.
		However, a lot of people will buy it just because it gives Outlook Caller ID capability, never mind the fact that it claims to be able to OCR incoming faxes directly into Outlook.
