Olympic silver medalist Cam Baerg was named Saskatchewan's Male Athlete of the Year at the Saskatchewan Sports Award Banquet this week.
Cam is currently in Victoria, B.C. and was unable to attend the awards night.
The Saskatchewan rowing community was out in full force at the event to support all of the finalists, including Sarah Graham (Saskatoon Rowing Club) in the Youth Female Athlete of the Year category, and the Saskatchewan Provincial Rowing Team in the Team of the Year category.

He won a gold medal at the men's four event at the 2003 World Championships in Milan, Italy and a silver at the same event at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
