	Cambrin Military Cemetery
		Cambrin is a village about 24 kilometres north of Arras and 8 kilometres east of Bethune on the road to La Bassée.
		At one time, the village of Cambrin housed brigade headquarters but until the end of the First World War, it was only about 800 metres from the front line trenches.
		Cambrin Military Cemetery, often called Cambrin Chateau Cemetery, was begun in February 1915 and used as a front line cemetery until December 1918.

		Some soldiers died in the course of heroic actions, sidestepping bullets and breaching barbed wire in the race across no-man's land, but for many, death was simply a side effect of the general day to day attrition in the trenches - a sniper's bullet or stray shell picking off the men one by one.
		In June 1918, the 2nd Battalion Royal Sussex were alternating their time by training and rest at Noeux les Mines, south of Bethune, and periods in the trenches at Cambrin, further east.
		The Battalion remained in Support in CAMBRIN and was chiefly occupied in carrying and working parties.

		With the a $3-billion provincial infrastructure transportation grant scheduled to be distributed to municipalities during the next three years in the new budget, Riva Cambrin is concerned the M.D. will lose out on a tremendous amount of much-needed funds if this formula continues to be used.
		At the moment, Riva Cambrin said urban municipalities would receive the full capita amount of $60 per person from the infrastructure transportation grant, while the M.D. of Foothills would only receive about 44 per cent at $32 per person.
