I remember when Camelot 3000 was originally released by DC.
Camalot 3000 is about 300 pages long and he probably had a stricter deadline.
The plot itself is fairly straightforward: an alien invasion of Earth in the year 3000 leads to the resurrection of King Arthur, who makes good on his promise to return and defend England in its hour of need.

Even though they did not want to hurt Arthur anymore, they could do nothing to avoid getting involved once more, specially after Lancelot saved her life again when she was shot by Owen McAllister.
Lancelot and Guinevere were soon called back to New Camelot.
