	General Camporee Info
		Camporees are hosted by local groups and can be held anywhere in North America.
		Each camporee group (cadre) will consist of eight or nine Cadets and two counselors, and the individuals that make up the cadre will all meet for the first time at the camporee.
		The international camporee usually is an event that a boy will have a chance to attend only once or twice in his years as a Cadet -- a highlight of the cadeting experience.

		The Michigan International Camporee has been authorized by regional and national offices of the Boy Scouts of America and is in the World Scout Bureau's list of UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL EVENTS.
		All Boy Scouts of America participants will be required to wear full official BSA uniforms including shirt, shorts, socks, and belt, at the opening and closing ceremonies and at campwide campfires, and participants from other Scout associations will be expected to wear their uniforms at those events.
		Cost: There is no fee for the camporee itself, including tents, food and cooking equipment, for one patrol of up to 8 Scouts and 2 leaders from each country outside of the United States and Canada.

	Spring Camporee 2001
		There are no swimming requirements for this camporee, but there will be a lot of water...in one form or another.
		Remind your Scoutmaster to bring your patrol’s medical record to the Camporee, they are very important should you require a trip to the hospital.
		Permission slips and medical records should be in posession of troop and patrol Scouters attending the Camporee in case of an emergency.
