Amp choices??? - Canadian Car Audio - Canada’s #1 Car Audio Forum
Hey guys I was wondering what amp you would choose to power a pair of subs in a sealed enclosure that are rated at 750rms or 1500max each and are duel 4ohm coils.
One amp that can run 2 channels at 2 ohms each is the Eclipse DA7232 (Max 2000 per channel but RMS isw probably 1000-1500 which will be fine with sealed enclosures).
I just thought it would be eazier with 1 amp but the more I look at the higher wattage mono amps I see they are mostly all class "d" and seem to have a lot dirtier signal THD than the A/Bs I already have(I really dont know if my ears could tell, but??).

Traynor YCV20 Custom Valve 20 review   (Site not responding. Last check: )
The current crop of 15 watt guitar amps is typically divided into three camps: inexpensive solid state "practice" amps, stripped down tube amps, and super expensive boutique amps.
The amp is covered in fl vinyl with a silver grill (there is also a red wine vinyl option available.) The controls are recessed on the top rear of the amp -- exactly where they should be on a small amp.
The amp seems to respond in some circular way with me now, instead of the big fight to wrench a note out of the neck, now its just; the head thinks with an attendant emotion, the body moves into it, the amp gives it right back to me. I dunno, never had this happen before.

If the fuse was farther down the line, like at the amps, and the wire shorted, you would have a good possibility of a fire hazzard, and your ride burning to the ground.

Less fuss, less muss and good audiophile pedigree for an amp that won’t be considered reference quality either, but if it can give me some of that palpable presence and truth of timbre action that tubes are known for, I’m all ears.
Solid-state amp users also engage in a similar tweak by switching out the op-amps used in their headphone amps for different chips that supposedly work well with their headphone choice, or personal tastes.
Some amps are designed for quick and easy op-amp rolling, but again, I have no interest in tweaking things to the nth degree of refinement with my Headsave Classic.

TV.com Forums - Canadian Pick-Ups of American Shows & Canadian Shows For Next Season
Some satellite and cable providers flout American networks when a Canadian network airs a simulcast or change the signal (meaning, when you turn to the American station the Canadian one is there in its place until the simulcast ends).
Its merely the Canadian signal that's overlaid over the American signal, and only when the Canadian network has a show scheduled in the same timeslot as it is in the US.
Canadian networks buy from all the American networks, so say Tuesday evening primetime might see CTV play shows from NBC, CBS, and Fox, so you'd see the Canadian signal overlaid over each of those networks as whatever program CTV has brought from them comes on if it airs at the same time.
