The Credentials Committee moved that those messengers duly elected by their churches presently registered, and those yet to register, be seated and compose the sessions of the 18th Annual Convention of the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists.
The vision statement of the CCSB Foundation is "Every person, family, and church using their God-entrusted resources to build His Kingdom." Marshall challenged messengers to lead by participation and to become advocates of the Foundation and this vision statement.
The National Leadership Board recommends that the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists confirm the appointment of Glen Gryzko as auditor for the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists, the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary, and the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists Foundation for 2002.

Mark Abernathy, N.C. Baptist Men's consultant for men's ministry and partnership missions, told the BSC Executive Committee that a "vision trip" to Canada by N.C. Baptist leaders recently was encouraging.
N.C. Baptists are also well on the way toward their goal of rebuilding 600 homes in the Gulfport, Miss., area, according to Brunson.
Ed Yount, the chair of the BSC board's mission growth and evangelism committee, reported that N.C. Baptists were two thirds of the 3,600 volunteers at Crossover events during the Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Greensboro in June.

OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada (BP)--Gerry Taillon, the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists’ national ministry leader, underscored his optimism for the future of the convention at its annual meeting in Ottawa, Ontario.
Messengers were nearly unanimous in mandating that the CCSB national leadership board to recommend a new name to be voted on at next year’s annual meeting.
This year’s convention was the first to be broadcast live on the Internet, and Brad Daily, the convention’s director of communications, estimated that at any given time, between 75 and 100 people were online watching the proceedings.
