MILWAUKEE -- Russell Rebholz, a former basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, has died at age 93.
He switched to football the next year, and as a player-coach for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, set a Canadian Football League record with a 68-yard touchdown pass.
Rebholz led the Bombers to the Western Conference Grey Cup in 1935, and was later inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame.
