The Canadian Computing Competition is a national programming competition for secondary school students in Canada.

The aim of the competition is to provide students with an opportunity to test their ability in designing and understanding algorithms, as well as programming.

This concern is even greater because taking computer science courses in high school is more of a determining factor for girls who choose to major in computer science than for boys [3].

Each year, many students will participate in the Canadian Computing Competition held by the University of Waterloo.
Vaughan Secondary School is the only school in Canada to win 1st place in the area of York Region for three consecutive years and two years in a row in all of Ontario.
