 | | Canaima National Park, takes up a good part of the huge area of south-eastern Venezuela known as the Gran Sabana (as opposed to Sabana Grande, which is a shopping street in Caracas!), and apparently qualifies as the sixth largest national park in the world. |

 | | This area of the mountains, is designated Henri Pittier National Park, and although totally undeveloped as regards facilities, trails, etc, it is at the very least a beautiful drive up into the lush cloud forest. |
