Canary Wharf tube station is a London Underground station on the Jubilee Line, between Canada Water and North Greenwich.
Canary Wharf station and the Jubilee Line Extension itself were partly funded by the owners of the Canary Wharf complex, with the intention of making it more accessible to commuters.
The tube station was intended from the start to be the showpiece of the Jubilee Line Extension, and its design was awarded in 1990 to the renowned architect Sir Norman Foster.

We have our London office in Canary Wharf and it is just like Wall Street area in NY in that during the day, the area is full of workers, but in the evening the place dies out quickly, though there are some pubs that tend to stay full (All Bar One, Henry Addington, etc.).
I'm afraid I'm uncertain of the precise location of Odyssey Wharf within the docklands, but most areas that bill themselves as being in the canary wharf area are within 10 minutes' walk of Canary Wharf underground.
As far as reataurants are concerned, there are plenty in Canary Wharf, from very upscale (Ubon, which is the sister restaurant to the trendy Nobu) to more casual Chinese, Argentinian, Italian, Japanese and fish retaurants.

I wouldn't say catering in and around Canary Wharf is entirely upmarket: not everyone that works there is that well-paid, and there are a lot of different outlets in the main shopping malls, including a Wagamama, Pret a Manger and other sandwich shops and Italian-run cafés.
