CanJet is a low-cost chartered airline based in Enfield, Nova Scotia, Canada at the Halifax International Airport in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
CanJet was successfully relaunched on June 20, 2002 as an independent airline.

CanJet airlines has regained a key contract to fly chartered flights for tour operator Sunquest, creating optimism that some of its recently laid-off workers can be rehired.
The airline suddenly dropped 456 employees in Halifax and 80 in Toronto on Sept. 5 when it stunned the industry with an announcement it was shutting down its scheduled passenger service.

In 2002, the former owner of Royal Airlines and director with Canada 3000 Michel Leblanc went on to form another scheduled discount airline, Jetsgo, which lasted almost three years before it too collapsed and filed for backruptcy protection on March 11, 2005.
