In 1898 a mailman on horseback from Nehalem found one of the cannons buried in the bottom of Shark Creek.

Otherwise, it's a really nice place to camp that is within a bicycle's ride to both the beach and the town of Cannon Beach.
This is undoubtably the best RV Park in the Cannon Beach, Seaside OR area, and we will stay there again because the rest are unexceptable, but we will double check everything and make sure they have our reservations before we leave to go and advise all to do the same.
Only downside is laundry (only public one in town and park is city owned so lots of outsiders using it) and the modem hookup (at a little table in the rec room so you get hit with pool balls or a pool cue).
