Canton Road (Traditional Chinese: 廣東道) is a road linking the former west reclamation shore in Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok of Kowloon.
The road was elongated from the section in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The roads in the area were mainly named after cities of China and Vietnam.

 Canton Township
Canton Township, a 36 square mile town, is bounded by Hannan Road on the east, Joy Road on the north, Napier Road on the west, and Van Born on the south.
The Sauk Trail, was the original road running through the township, with improvements made in 1825, the Federal Government, remodeled the trail, and renamed it the Chicago Turnpike, for it wound its way from Detroit to Chicago, Illinois.
The earliest Canton Townshipschool was located on Ridge Road across from the cemetery.

Stevens, a 25-year veteran of the Canton Police Department, was one of the original officers hired in 1978 when the police department began providing full-time police services to the community.
Lew, as he was affectionately called, is the first officer in Canton to fall in the line of duty.

The 70-square-mile study area stretches from Interstate 94 to the south to M-14 to the north and from the Wayne-Washtenaw County line to the west to Newburgh to the east.
While only Canton and Van Buren are helping pay for the study, parts of Plymouth, Wayne, Westland and Romulus will be included, since traffic in those communities affects Canton and Van Buren.
While the study won't likely lead to new roads being created, it will help identify what roads should be widened or improved with signs or traffic lights.
