A native of Canute, Oklahoma Wayne Walters is part of the fifth generation of family in Southwest Oklahoma.
Wayne continued his education at Oklahoma State University where he was honored as a Top Ten senior in the College of Agriculture, Aggie-X president, Alpha Zeta Honor Society, and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Agricultural Fraternity.
Wayne is a life member of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association serving on the National Board of Directors of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association in 1993 and also as president of the Agricultural Alumni association from 1991-1992.
