 Family Cardinalidae
Family Cardinalidae is an entirely New World family that consists of 42 species.
These birds have a great resemblance to the carduelline finches in Family Fringillidae because they have the same bright colors and seed cracking bills, but cardinallines also include fruit and insects in their diets.
