SOLDIERS may often think that their career is on a giant roulette wheel spun by the U.S. Total Army Personnel Command - sometimes a soldier wins and gets the assignment he wants, sometimes he loses his shirt.
Soldiers choose assignment locations when they first enlist and the choices stay on the personnel files throughout their careers unless they are updated.
Some soldiers view participation in the Exceptional Family Member Program as potentially hazardous to a soldier's career, Scott said, and may not specify on their DA Form 4187 that they have a family member who needs to be close to a specific medical treatment facility.

Soldiers can successfully take courses with command support during the lunch hour or in the evenings, and get a large portion of their degree requirements out of the way before they leave the service.
Leaving the Army may not be the best choice for a soldier and his family if they have not prepared educationally or financially to achieve their goals according to their transition plan.

I realize some people may use the mouse with their left hand, however the standard setup is for the mouse to be used in the right hand, and most people, even those who, like me, are predominately left-handed, have adapted to this setup.

 Reenlistment Information
It is important for you to understand that there are minimum qualifications that must be met in order to be allowed to reenlist for one of the 5 available reenlistment options.
If you are a First-Term Soldier (a soldier that has never before reenlisted and had less than 180 days of Active Federal Service before joining the Army) and you desire retraining as an option, you must have a minimum GT score of 110 and be prepared to reenlist for a minimum term of 4 years.
If you are a First-Term Soldier and you would like another Conus installation, you must have a minimum GT score of 100 and be prepared to reenlist for a minimum of 3 years.
