 | | Carl Davis, son of the late Howard Roscoe Davis and Maude Morgan Davis, was born on June 22, 1929, at Shook and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at the age of 75. |
 | | Davis was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter, a former teacher at Dudley, had served in the Dexter Public School System as teacher, administrator, and as superintendent from 1979-1981. |
 | | Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Marsha Adams of Dexter, Carol Davis and Lisa Robertson, both of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Delbert Davis of Poplar Bluff and Bob Davis of Stillman Valley, Ill.; two sisters, Betty Morgan of Poplar Bluff and Pat Witt of Springfield; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. |
