The Carleton Ravens are the athletic teams that represent Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Carleton used to have a Canadian football team that had some success in the mid 1980's, but due to poor performances and a number of other reasons, the sport was cut in 1998.
Carleton's biggest rivals are the Ottawa Gee Gees of the University of Ottawa.

The Carleton University Ravens close one of their most successful athletic school years with five CIS All-Canadians, 34 OUA All-Stars, a CIS National Championship in men's basketball, an OUA Provincial Championship in men's soccer and six teams earned either the OUA silver or OUA bronze medals during the past year.
Farthing led the Ravens basketball program to their first post-season berth in six years, she was named OUA East All-Star and twice (2004 and 2006) earned the OUA East Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Smart, a fifth-year commerce student from Napanee, Ont. was named most valuable player of the CIS men’s basketball championship for the second season in a row as he led the Ravens to a third straight national title.
The Ravens defeated Ottawa 69-47, StFX 67-65 in the semi-final round, and Concordia 68-48 in the gold medal game to become the third team in CIS history, and the first since the 1988-89 Brandon Bobcats, to win three straight national titles in men’s basketball.
